On Friday, 23 August, Laerskool Ermelo hosted a blood drive in partnership with the South African National Blood Service (SANBS). The event was a huge success, collecting 48 units of blood, potentially saving up to 144 lives.
The school extends its gratitude to all the parents and family members who supported this initiative.
A special mention goes to two learners, Azande Kuhlase and Bokamoso Mokone, who each convinced three people to donate blood. As a reward for their efforts, they received gift packs from SANBS, handed out by Thuli Mkhwanazi from the organization.
The school is proud of its learners and their community for making such a positive impact.
