Summer Fields Private School’s annual athletics meeting at Hoërskool Ermelo was nothing short of a spectacle, filled with speed, skill, and school spirit. With perfect weather setting the stage, the school pavilion was packed with parents who cheered as their children sprinted, jumped, and threw their way to glory.
Students were divided into three teams, each determined to claim the top spot.
- Blue Panthers brought speed and determination,
- Red Tigers showcased strength and strategy, while
- Yellow Lions impressed with their bold and fearless energy.
From sprints to long jump and shot put, athletes pushed themselves to the limit, but in the end, only one team could take the crown.
The Blue Panthers emerged as champions, with the Red Tigers close behind in second place. The Yellow Lions finished third but proved that enthusiasm and spirit matter just as much as medals, earning them the Team Spirit Trophy.
A huge shoutout to all the parents who showed up to support their young athletes and added to the electric atmosphere of the day. And of course, congratulations to every student who gave it their all—whether it was crossing the finish line first or simply giving their best effort
