Netherland Park Secondary School is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of Tibelo Phoko, a Grade 11 student who has brought great honour to the school. On 1 June 2024, Tibelo participated in the Mpumalanga Development Karate Championship 2024 in Bethal.
Tibelo demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, earning a gold medal in Kumite. He won all his fights, securing the title of champion in his division. This remarkable achievement highlights Tibelo's dedication and hard work in karate.
Tibelo is trained by Sensei Nsizwa Thanjekwayo, who is not only the coach but also serves as the Head of Discipline at Netherland Park Secondary School. Sensei Nsizwa's guidance and expertise have been instrumental in Tibelo's success.
