Motorists travelling on the N2 between Leiden and Camden are advised of a temporary road closure on Thursday, 22 January 2026, due to scheduled blasting operations as part of ongoing road upgrade works.
WBHO Construction confirmed that blasting will take place between 14:00 and 16:00 on the new N2 Northbound Carriageway between Ch65+220 and Ch65+700. During this time, all access roads leading to the blasting area — including the national road — will be closed for safety reasons.
Road users are warned to expect delays of up to one hour on the day of the blast and are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly.
WBHO Construction has apologised for the inconvenience caused and urged motorists to cooperate with traffic officials on site.
If you know anyone who will be travelling along this route, please share this notice with them.
