With South Africa approaching a key moment on its national calendar, the State of the Nation Address (SONA) 2026 is set to outline the country’s direction for the year ahead.
President Cyril Ramaphosa will use the address to set out government’s key policy objectives and planned deliverables, highlight pressing challenges, and outline interventions aimed at unlocking South Africa’s economic and social potential. The President will also reflect on progress made since his 2025 address, including achievements to date and updates on the implementation of the Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan (ERRP).
South Africans are encouraged to follow the address as it provides insight into government priorities and the road ahead — an important moment not to be missed.
