Two local athletes delivered commendable performances at the Assegai 10km race on Saturday morning. Zelda Keyser finished fourth overall among the women and claimed first place in the women’s under-50 category, crossing the line in an impressive 53 minutes against strong competition.

Adding to the success on the day, Annaline Weweje secured first place in the women’s over-60 division, showcasing determination and experience on the course. Their results made for a proud showing and highlighted the depth of local talent across age categories.
