Msukaligwa Local Municipality has officially invited members of the public to comment on its 2026/2027 Draft Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and Draft Annual Budget. In terms of Section 25(4) of the Municipal Systems Act and Section 22 of the Municipal Finance Management Act, Council approved the draft documents during its sitting on 25 March 2026. The municipality confirmed that the draft IDP and Medium-Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework (2026/27 to 2028/29) have been made available for public inspection from 8 April 2026.
Residents and stakeholders can view the documents at all municipal offices and libraries during office hours, or online via the municipal website at www.msukaligwa.gov.za. Written comments must be submitted to the Office of the Municipal Manager, Mr M. Kunene, or placed in designated suggestion boxes located next to the draft documents. All submissions must be received by no later than 12:00 on 28 April 2026.
