Several local riders from Hoërskool Ermelo delivered strong performances at the SANESA Q2 Graded and Training Show, earning top placings across multiple disciplines including dressage, show riding and showjumping.
Amelia Pretorius stood out with consistent results across two horses. Riding Bries, she secured first place in Show Riding Level 5, along with podium finishes in multiple novice dressage and Prix Caprilli events. With Peptalk, she added another first place in Show Riding Level 3 and topped the Dressage Prelim Freestyle, reinforcing her dominance on the day.
Joané van Zyl, riding Elusive Swann, competed in the Prix Caprilli classes, achieving a sixth and tenth place respectively, while Denike van Zyl and Disselboom Faruq impressed with two first-place finishes in Prix Caprilli Level 1 tests, alongside solid dressage results.
Crystal Whipp and Shadow also made their mark in the showjumping arena, claiming a second place in Equitation 70cm and additional top-five finishes in their jumping classes.
