The Msukaligwa Local Municipality has released its latest load reduction schedule for Ermelo, Wesselton, Cassim Park, Khayelihle (Ext 11), Thusiville, Breyten and surrounding areas, effective 18 May to 24 May.
The schedule outlines rotational evening power cuts between 16:30 and 21:00 (depending on the affected area) as part of efforts to manage pressure on the local electricity network.
Residents are encouraged to check their designated areas on the issued schedules, switch off non-essential appliances during peak periods, and take note that technicians may amend the schedule without prior notice for safety and grid stability reasons.
