Ligbron learners were in action on Saturday, 23 May, with teams competing in netball, hockey and rugby fixtures. The weekend produced several positive results, including qualification for the Mpumalanga play-offs and victories in the Noordvaal Cup.
Netball – Gert Sibande Play-offs
Ligbron’s B-netball teams delivered strong performances during the Gert Sibande play-offs on home ground, with the U/15 B team securing qualification for the Mpumalanga play-offs.

- U/14 B – Finished 3rd
- U/15 B – Finished 3rd and qualified for the Mpumalanga play-offs
- U/16 B – Finished 5th
- Second Team – Finished 4th in Gert Sibande
Hockey – HS Secunda
In hockey, Ligbron teams faced HS Secunda in their latest fixtures, recording one win, three draws and one loss.
