Three gymnasts from Ermelo Gymnastics earned their Mpumalanga colours during the Mpumalanga Trials held in Nelspruit on 29 August.

- Tajana Pienaar (Level 5) delivered an excellent performance, taking first place on the uneven bars and finishing first overall in her division.
- Kyna Boyder (Level 4) secured first place in the vault and finished third overall.
- Stewart Boyder (Under 16) also performed strongly, finishing second overall.
The three gymnasts will represent Mpumalanga at the National Gymnastics Championships in Centurion, which will take place during the school holidays.
